Franchise Holdouts Rarely Progress and Players Stay Out the Entire Season
In Madden NFL 27 Franchise Mode, players who enter a contract holdout frequently remain in the holdout status for the entire season without the situation progressing.
In most cases, the player does not get an extension, does not appear on the trade block, and does not seem to generate a trade demand. Occasionally a player will receive an extension, but this happens very rarely.
This makes holdouts feel like they have no real resolution. The player can essentially sit out for the entire season while the user has very limited ways to resolve the situation.
Expected behavior: Holdouts should progress toward different outcomes depending on the situation, such as an extension, trade demand/trade, or another resolution.
Actual behavior: Players frequently remain in the holdout state for the entire season without being traded or receiving an extension.
I’ve experienced this multiple times across different Franchise saves, so it does not appear to be an isolated occurrence. This seems like it could be a bug or an issue with the holdout progression/trade logic.
