More updates, same old problem!  Still can't play a solo offline franchise which is the only way I play.  We are now 1/12th of the year until next years game.  That's $5.83 that EA now owes me for wasting my money on a broken game...and counting!  At this point I'm thinking I'm getting along just fine without Madden in my life.  Maybe I'll just give it up altogether.  That would make my wife very happy.  After 30 years of loyalty, this is how EA treats us!  FFS!!
