Question

Madden NFL 27 PC hard-lock during loading on RTX 2080 Ti.

The monitor goes black, RTX 2080 Ti fans run at 100%, and Windows/the case power button no longer responds; I must use the PSU switch to restart.

System: Ryzen 9 5950X, Gigabyte B550 DS3H, RTX 2080 Ti, MSI MAG A850 PCIe 5 850 W PSU, 48 GB RAM.

Troubleshooting already completed: clean Windows reset; current chipset and NVIDIA driver clean installation; Madden repair; EA app cache clear; EA Javelin AntiCheat uninstall/reinstall; all overlays disabled; 60 FPS cap; XMP disabled; GPU power limited to 70%; GPU reseated and powered with checked connections; PCIe slot forced to Gen 3.

Stability tests passed: OCCT VRAM 10 minutes/0 errors; OCCT 3D Adaptive Heavy 10 minutes/0 errors; OCCT Memory 15 minutes/0 errors.

The crash is reproducible during Madden loading, while other demanding games such as Forza Horizon 6 run normally. Please investigate RTX 2080 Ti compatibility, Madden loading/shader initialization, and EA Javelin AntiCheat behavior.

Restart Windows.
Verify Madden 27's files in Steam/EA App.
Reinstall Javelin for Madden 27.
Restart again and test.
