"Preseason Work" Task Bugged in Franchise

The game freezes mid loading screen when trying to manually complete "Preseason Work for __" task in franchise mode. This bug sometimes extends to weekly focus player drills, which also freeze at the start of the loading screen. I am currently playing on PC via EA app.
