I want to decline the 5th year option for a player and re sign him on his 4th year. But the prompt is confusing as hell. It just asks if he may warrant a long term contract. It doesn’t tell me if I click yes he will get a 5th year option or if I hit no he will. Does anybody have the answer? I do not want the 5th year option.

Answering no will end the conversation and you can resign the player like any other player. If you want the 5th year option, you need to say yes twice.
