Did EA add back ability to switch teams during Franchise game? They need to.
For years Madden and even NCAA football allowed ability to switch teams during a franchise game. Not just an exhibition. Ever since online gaming became a thing, this function was removed. Can it be added back? Not everyone plays online for franchise. To add variety some of us off line gamers like the variety to be able to play a game as one team and switch it up each QTR. I control all 32 teams, and choose 8 (1 from each division) and I used to be able to switch teams when the ones I controlled met head to head. Now all I can do is SIM it and it takes a lot of fun and spontaneity out of the experience.Face of The Franchise positions changing

It changes my position players to a default QB and I lose all my progress What do you expect to see? Starters not playing in franchise mode
My starters are not playing in franchise mode. My depth chart is correct, but when it comes to in-game play, all of my bench guys come in and my starters don’t re-enter the game. I’m 16 games into the season and haven’t had an issue until now. I’ve checked all the fatigue sliders, blah blah blah, and all of my settings are the same since I started the season, so nothing has changed. I’m playing on the Xbox Series X. Franchise mode in Madden 23 is unplayable. - Online franchise will revert users back to the most recent draft constantly, causing players to get stuck in a loop. I personally haven’t made it past year 2025. - Offline franchise save files will corrupt (usually around the same year 2025). Now here is the weird thing. I had backed up my save file multiple times. ALL 3 SAVE FILES CORRUPTED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. I have no idea how this is possible - Also there are times when I am constantly being “discounted due to inactivity” every 5 minutes or so. All of this now means I now have 3 franchises that are stuck around year 2025. As I don’t play online, this game is unplayable for me and has been since I purchased. Hopefully anyone else who buys the game for franchise mode reads this and doesn’t waste $80 on the game.

You're likely here because you have a great suggestion for Madden NFL 23 or for a future Madden title down the road. From our side, it's better to see one post with significant XP with the community adding onto it. This way we have similar thoughts in the same place which makes it easier to collect and read for the Madden team. This board acts like a "suggestion box" where the Forum Community Managers may be less active than the General Discussion and other forum boards. We recommend putting together a well thought out post and encourage all others to give it XP if it is something you'd like to see added into the game/franchise. The Forum Community Managers will be active in reading all thoughts here and ensure all posts with significant XP are vocalized to the Madden team. If you want to discuss the contents of the post among others here that is welcomed! We do encourage you to post on the other relevant game mode boards if you're looking to get a conversation going among others within the community and Madden Forum Community Managers. What is an example of a great suggestion or idea? A post that only says "you should put X in the game because it will make it better" won't likely gain as much traction compared to one that has reasons why the current design is causing obstacles for the community, a better way to go about the game design, examples of it happening in game (video footage isn't required but it always adds more value), and how it would be beneficial for the entire Madden community. How to report a bug in Madden NFL 23
Hey, Madden NFL Community. Thank you for taking a moment to fill out a bug report! This forum board is a valuable resource for both our Customer Support staff and Madden development team in helping identify issues unexpectedly occurring in Madden NFL 23. Prior to submitting a bug, please use the search bar and try searching for key words associated with what you're experiencing. An example of a keyword could be freezing, the actual challenge name, set name, pack name, etc. If there is an existing post on the bug you want to report, please reply to it and hit the "me too" button under the original posters message. To help you post on the correct board and so make AHQ more effective I wanted to make this post to differentiate between what is a tech issue and what is a bug report.
