Adding a UDFA stage to the Draft

I think adding a fleshed out Undrafted Free Agent stage post draft would not only make the game more accurate, but also give opportunities to sign more depth players or possible stars.

Currently the undrafted players hit normal free agency but the decent players are signed by the CPU teams immediately and the rest are ~50 OVR.

But a system like the current FA system with bidding and motivations with the player's ovr hidden like players during the draft would be very interesting and I'd personally love to dabble in the UDFA market.

I don't know if the idea would be popular but for players like myself who enjoy playing the game like real NFL football, which I believe 23 has come the closest to, I think they'd enjoy having a quick 1 stage UDFA week to add some young depth players without using up late round picks

I think this could be pretty useful. Though ngl, I have seen some super low overall players w/ a hidden dev, but having a chance to get some of the others, and prioritize adding them as depth, or at the very least giving a flier on them just to see skill set would be nice. Of course as u said, and just like real life, having to actually give up a bit more than the low ball salary due to overall could add to make this a better idea. Could be wrong, but I don't recall a salary for UDFA ever eclipsing 1 mil, so maybe make that, or maybe even lower, the cap to sign the player.
