Adding Classic NFL Teams as Team Options
I think that one of the most frustrating aspects of Madden that exists that 2k seems to excel at year and year is providing their gamers with classic NBA teams from each decade as an option to play with in both plays now mode and season mode. Madden franchises have never classic teams involved in their games since I've been playing them for the last 21 years. The next Madden game should seriously consider adding classic NFL teams such as the 1985 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers, 2013 Seattle Seahawks, 1972 Miami Dolphins, 2003 Philadelphia Eagles, 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1990s Cowboys, 49ers, and Bills teams, the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers, 2000 Baltimore Ravens, 2017 Philadelphia Eagles, 2020 Kansas City Chiefs, and even some teams from the 1950s and 1960s who young gamers never got to see play. This feature would be exciting and fresh for the Madden franchise because it would allow us to play with some of the greatest players in NFL history such as Mean Joe Greene, Terrell Owens, Franco Harris, John Lynch, Warren Sapp, and many others from iconic teams who defined a generation of football for many years. Imagine seeing the Steel Curtain defense go against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs explosive offensive. That would be such a spectacle and we as gamers would be the controllers of the whole experience. I think that the Madden game creators need to make this happen in the next installment, so gamers can have something new and different to engage themselves with amongst friends and family.
