Auction house and trade block permanent ban. No explanation.

I received a permanent ban a few days ago, it said I would get an email with an explanation, I never did.  I have opened two cases and two chats trying to get some answers.  The "best" answer i got was it's going to the team that deals with this.  I buy a lot of packs, so I'm selling and buying cards almost daily to try and improve my team, some of them large transactions.  I've been half way lucky with some of the packs I've bought with mut points bought off PlayStation network.  And I have the bank records to prove it.  I haven't broken any rules, yet I'm still banned and I can't get any answers.  I've spent a lot of money on this game trying to keep up with the competition.  If this ban holds in another couple weeks my team will be obsolete, and at this point there is no point to buy anymore packs because I can't sell the cards that won't make my team.  Can I get some answers?  Or better yet my auction block back?

  • I went through all the steps and ended up opening two cases.  I finally got an email last night saying they were looking into it and they are closing the duplicate.  I still never received an email on why I got the  ban in the first place and why it's permanent.  I have never broke any rules that I know of nor have I ever had a ban.  So to give out a permanent ban for a supposed first time offense is a good way to lose customers. And from the forums I've been reading y'all are handing out bans left and right.

I get that it looks like a lot of people are being banned, but they are a small amount of the playerbase. However, they can negatively affect a much larger portion of the community. Which is why we do our best to take action on people that truly break the rules.

You should have received an email with the reason why you were banned. For example, if it was due to buying/selling of coins, you'll get a notice about being involved in coin distribution. It's possible this email could have ended up in your spam folder.

  • A community I've been a part of since day 1.  But yet I get a permanent ban.  And no email arrived.  I checked every folder in my email, I did not get one!

It doesn't just look like a lot of people, you can do a simple google search and read stories for days.

And the only transactions I've been a part of is with people I play with.  I've helped my friends improve their team so we can do better in squads free of charge or they get me cards I need, but I don't see how that is against any policy.  Just take one look at my account and see all the MUT points I buy and that should resolve this case immediately.  I sell and buy a ton of cards on the block to improve my team through the packs I've opened via the MUT points I've bought through PSN.

And to get a permanent ban for a supposed first time offense, I've still yet to hear of said offence is ridiculous.

That's like getting your first speeding ticket and going to jail for a year for it.

Spending money on the game doesn't give people a free pass to break the rules without puishment. As far as your particular issue goes, I don't have any other details on it. You'll just have to wait for ToS to respond.

  • But a permanent ban for a first time offense and honest mistake is an absolute joke.
