Auction House Bug

Product: Madden NFL 21
Platform:Sony Playstation 4

Which mode has this happened in? Ultimate Team
Which part of the mode? Seasons
Summarize your bug Whenever I go to post a card on the auction block and or trade block I receive and error message, nor am I allowed to open the auctions to buy players. I am quite confused my this as it has never happened to me in any madden game ever before, and I play every year. I put lots of money into MUT because, it is my favorite game to play during my free time. I’m just an average player at best, get on, buy some packs, sell cards, and upgrade my team and try my hardest not to lose! If anyone can help me fix this issue on my account or explain what is happening and why, that would be more than amazing! Thank you!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look into my account and or try to unlock the feature.
What happens when the bug occurs? Does not allow me to go into the auction house.
What do you expect to see? A normal, working auction house.

  • @TheBigMadCowwhat error message do you get? I hope it is not related to a (unjustified) ban.

    my first guess would be trying to do a power cycle. I've read that power cycling your PS might solve issues regarding the connection to EA servers and the issue you describe seems to be a connection issue.

    how to do it (taken from a post by @EA_Aljo): >>> unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. <<<

    my second guess: maybe your lineup causes this error. sometimes there is something corrupted saved in the background of your lineup. creating a new lineup (e.g. by using the 'generate best OVR' option) and rebuilding your existing lineup might solve this issue (if it is caused by the lineup).

  • @Neo_Novalis I reset my router, and changed up my lineup... Nothing seems to work, I don’t have any ban messages nor have I received any warnings, I’m almost 100% sure I have not broken any of EAs guide lines, I havn’t done any glitches, bought or sold coins, although one of my buddies is getting deployed overseas so he is no longer playing this year and he sent me a good some of coins, but I didn’t know a gift from a friend was against the guide lines... Could the software EA uses of temporarily blocked the auction house from my PSN? If so do you know how I go about resolving this issue? Thanks you!!

    @TheBigMadCow If you got banned (wrongfully or justified) you should have received an email containing all information. Maybe you have to check the spam folder.

    Anyways you might have to contact EA Help (via help.ea.com or via twitter). They can track your account and hopefully will solve this issue for you. Good luck!
  • @Neo_NovalisThank you for you help but... interestingly enough there is no email sent to me from EA anywhere in any of my email addresses!!! I have searched them all... No email, no description, no communication at all. Weird... I’m just trying to play madden and have a little fun sniping here and there, and I can’t even post cards.

  • also this new bug where I had to verify constantly and now I just can't use my auction on the companion app but can on my ps4

    @pro21zak If the verification puzzle is not successfully done or avoided after several attempts it could lock you out for a short period of time. Frustrating, I know, but this is required to help combat botting.
