Madden NFL 2005 for the PC is the best version of the game in my opinion.
For "Create a Player", you could choose from hundreds of skin tones, 20 face shapes, different hair colors and hair styles, body type, and equipment.
For "Create a Team", you could build your own stadium, make your own uniform, choose a custom logo, and what type of team (weak, balanced, All-Madden, etc.)
There were historic rosters, but with generic number names because most of the players had long since retired. Retired players only appear in MUT anymore.
Most of the rookies had profile pictures on the PC version but not the consoles.
The announcers could say hundreds of last names. Not just QB, RB, WR and TE's, but even players on the O-Line, Defense and Special Teams.
In Franchise Mode, you could upgrade your stadium, earn revenue from merchandise and concessions, hire real-life coordinators, or relocate to dozens of cities.
2005's player textures still look great even 18 years later.
Tiburon should look into these old features that should never have been removed.
