Bias Soundtrack
Besides all the many glitches & obvious technical problems with this game, I would like to add another glaring issue that has imo plagued Madden games for far too long. And that would be…….. “THE MUSIC/SOUNDTRACK” (or lack there of). Honestly, why is literally EVERY SINGLE TRACK just another horrible “rap song” (where is the “rock music” or “heavy metal music” or “techno music” or “alternative music” or “fill in the blank music”, etc.)? I mean the least you could do is make sure that the rap songs chosen for the game are actually good rap songs; but “Madden-Rap” for years now has been mostly just more of the same old tired, unintelligible, non-rhythmic, eye-rolling lyrics, rap garbage. You guys can certainly do much better than this.
But the real issue that concerns me (& I’m sure many others as well), is why have Madden creators for multiple straight years taken it upon themselves to force millions of players to listen to just 1 specific type of music? Do the creators of Madden not realize (or just not care) that their customer base consists of literally every race of people on planet earth (all of whom have their own varying fav types of music)? One would think that the fact that we have a whole myriad of different types of cultural music in this world that a large percentage of Madden players enjoy listening to would actually be considered of some importance when creating the soundtrack for the game… So what gives? Could it be that the creators of Madden have their own bias political agenda & simply are a bunch of racist hypocritical bigots who only care to cater to 1 specific culture & race of people? Based on the blatantly bias soundtrack that you have created (over & over & over again btw), such a serious accusation certainly seems plausible…. And ftr: it really is sad that we cannot even enjoy playing a “Madden Football video game” anymore without being obviously bombarded with divisive political propaganda. Why has everything got to be corrupted with such nonsense? Just give us a fun & actually “working” video game to play that recognizes & appreciates “all” of its players; that’s it… very simple.
Don’t get me wrong, I like “some” rap music just like most people do, & having “some” rap music on the soundtrack is perfectly ok & even wanted by most players (myself included); but there is all kinds of great music apart from rap music that would add a much more vibrant, fun, & “inclusive” environment to the game. When we are forced to hear literally nothing but rap music continuously for hours on end while playing the game, it naturally & inevitably gets extremely old & quite annoying after so long (especially when it is awful “Madden-Rap”). And besides all that, one would think in a society (& in a “Gaming Company/NFL”) that preaches nonstop “diversity” in every last thing that they associate themselves with, that it would be prudent (& even “expected/required”) to back your own doctrine up by at least “diversifying” the soundtrack for the game that you create. Just sayin…
