Can I play Madden 20 offline?

I play on my PS4 and recently my internet has been having problems. I don't have EA Access but purchased the game full price from the PlayStation store. I would think it should work fine without internet but when I load in to the game I get a message telling me that my EA Access trial has ended and I need to subscribe to keep playing. Even behind this message I can see another one saying I won't be able to play online and just to press x. But this EA Access message is in front and stopping me. If I can't play until I get a connection that's fine but I don't want to have to buy EA Access after I already bought the $60 game.
