can play trial version only?

Literally having the same issue! Never had the trial because I have only had the full game. Do we know the full issue is?

I have the full madden 21 game (purchased physical copy) installed on my xbox. I have been playing it, but just today the “welcome to madden nfl 21 trial” screen came up. Has two options. To continue the trial or upgrade to full version. I have never signed up yet downloaded the madden 21 trial.

but when i play the trial cant play with friends on my xbox

I had EA Play and used the 10 hour Madden trial - I decided to purchase the game and now after owning the game since launch the game still says that I am using the game as part of a trial.

I have deleted and re-downloaded the game

I have also deleted the game and gone to redownload the game through the Xbox Live Store

I bought madden 21 and it also says I have the trial. However, I am not able to use all of the features of the game. I am able to do exhibition and the only other mode I tried doing is ultimate team and when I attempt to do a challenge I go back to the xbox menu and the game stops running entirely. I only care about ultimate team ☹️

EDIT: Other challenges work for me after further inspection but Mike Gesicki in 'More Stars' closes my game. Other challenges seem to work.
