Cannot play mut challenges or any head 2 head online

The issue I'm having is that every time I try to play a challenge or play online head 2 head on Madden Ultimate Team I get the error message that "our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later" this issue has persisted for the past 2 days. I paid money to play MUT and the fact that it's not working allowing me to enjoy what I've paid for is ridiculous.
