This would add so much replayability for me. I have been hoping over the last few years they would have fixed it but no such luck with 23. I get bored controlling my team after a while because you eventually learn how to destroy the AI and its far less about actual team building and more about being good at playing the game. In 22 I just user controlled the TE or occasionally the slot receiver on offense and that was a somewhat doable experience. I felt like it was more realistic because the QB would actually move and play like an AI QB should and it made finding a good QB really important. On defense I would just user the dline and switch players every snap and that worked fine i guess but I would ten fold prefer to just let the game play out entirely. I'd give anything to get even the most basic of basic. Just let the AI take over playing while i call plays. I'm actually really really enjoying 23 and i think the gameplay is lightyears better than 22 and I give EA props for that but the fact that they have "Coach Mode" as an option in the game knowing how absolutely useless it is really infuriates me. Even if they could just fix the game where the QB would move instead of standing there like a statue would make the mode worth playing and i would be content. so here's to hoping they get it fixed soon.
