Coin Toss - With or Against Wind?

I need some clarity on this from a Dev, In the NFL when choosing a coin toss wind if you choose against wind, you then get the 2nd/4th Quarter with the wind. Obviously ideal and that's what I want but there seems to be either a bug or something not done right in the game.

I just sat here with two controllers and did testing; multiple times and it was random who got the ball with what wind. Like completely random. So I started to take notes. 

Set Away- Kick/With
Set Home With/Kick

AWAY starts game with Kick - away 1st Q With Wind / Away 4th with wind

Set Away Receive/With
Set Home Against/receive

HOME starts game with kick - Home wind against 1st/4th with wind

Set Away receive/against
Set Home With/receive
Home starts game with kick - Home against 1st/4th against

I then did this a second time and got Home with 1st/4th with

I've looked for info on this and have really found nothing, which is why I did my own tests. My results leave me scratching my head even more. This legit makes no sense so I need to understand what they have set in the logic of the game for it. I mean seriously, they should just give you the options for Kick/Against/Wind and making wind just give you the wind at your back in the 2nd and 4th.
