Commentary doesn't match game situation
Product: Madden 17
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Summarize your bug: Announcers commentary doesn't always line up with actual situations.
How often does the bug occur?: Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Play a game and listen to commentary.
What happens when the bug occurs?: The game commentary does not reflect the game situation. See examples below.
What do you expect to see?: Game commentary reflective of game situation.
If your game crashed, about how many minutes were you playing before it crashed?:
What is your gamertag/PSN ID?:
Date/time issue occurred:
Did this issue happen in Connected Franchise Mode?:
The two examples that I come up with off the top of my head are:
* When it's 3rd down and more than 5, the commentators usually say it's 3rd and 2. If I'm on defense, they usually call me crazy for having a nickel set, since it's such a short yardage situation. When I'm on offense, if I have no backs in the backfield, they are surprised that I'm not running it.
* When the game goes into overtime, the announcers say something like that both teams have been held to 0. This happens every time I've gone into OT, regardless of the score. I just played a game that the score was 31-31 and they still talked about what a defensive battle holding each other to no points through 4 quarters.
Obviously these aren't huge bugs and don't take away from the game too much, but I figured I'd point them out. If I see any more, I'll add them. And if anyone else has any, feel free to add them.
On a side note, I skipped the half time commentary and the commentators commented on that, which was really funny. I appreciate EA including things like that.
