Connected Franchise: Ending a game and getting kicked to main menu on Xbox One

Basically I just held down the power button on the console until it turned off (10 seconds?). I haven't had a chance with work this week to see if it works again but I'll repost in the next day or two with an update.

        This problem has rendered the game virtually unplayable.  I've had it happen on each my last 3 games.
