Constantly losing connection to EA Servers

I can't play FotF or MUT for more than a few minutes without being kicked out of the game for losing connection. Playing on a Series X with a hard wired connection.

Backing out to the home dashboard, I still have connection to XBL. It's just the EA servers that are built out of toasters and mouse traps.

  • Hey, folks

I know this kind of issue can be frustrating, especially when it keeps getting in the way of playing. For those of you on Xbox Series X, here are a few network troubleshooting steps that may be worth trying if you haven't already:

    Power cycle your network

    • Unplug your modem/router for 5–10 minutes.
    • Plug it back in and allow it to fully reconnect before launching the game.

    Power cycle your Xbox

    • Hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    • Unplug the power cable and wait 10 seconds.
    • Plug it back in and turn the console on.

    Clear the Alternate MAC Address

    • Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear.
    • Restart the console when prompted.

If you're still running into the issue after trying those steps, have a look through EA's connection troubleshooting guide as well:

    Thanks
