Creating the Edge Rusher Position

For Madden 2024, is it possible to have an edger rusher position. I understand the difference between 4-3 and 3-4, but for example, if I’m a DE on a 4-3 defense, if I move to a new team, or a new coach comes and the scheme changes, for often than not my DE is not an interior DL.

    @MrHWY626 I agree. Edge rusher should be its own things. A 3-4 OLB and 4-3 DE should be edge rushers

    @MrHWY626 100% agree and I would like to add that most defensive position groupings should be tweaked or changed all together. I think it would work better if there was just Interior DL(IDL) Edge, Off Ball LB, CB and Safety. Get rid of the specific position designations and let the physical traits and skills dictate how user teams and CPU teams fill their rosters and set their lineups.
