Crossplay Not Working

Whenever I try to play a franchise game against a player on a different platform, we load into the screen where you can change your uniforms and playbook, we click ready, load for a bit, and then when we get into the game, one person is on the franchise home screen and the other one is in the stadium with the message "attention connection to your peer has been lost". Weve tried almost everything to get this to work, we can't play on the franchise or online H2H and its so annoying to have to sim every game against them. If there is a solution to this please help me.
