I say give a 3 yr deal to not only 2k but also to the guys doing college football revamp I mean if they seen the work they've done NCAA 14 they deserve a bigger project they turned it into a work of art wish I've seen and it's utterly beautiful. EA is losing their base only thing keeping alive is now COD which I don't play anymore, and mass effect and other shooters

All 2K did in the last couple of years for MyCareer which was The Mode in NBA2K ever since was to add some new animations and that's it! A.I. is still dumb af. Big man don't know how to score in the paint and miss easy layups and dunks as well as slight contestet. Elite players aren't an "X-Factor" in NBA2K. It's rather your "MyPlayer" who scores 40 a game or you'll lose against any team!

On top of it they add a new rigged and shiny story every year, that nobody really needs, but at the same time they completely moved MyCareer away from beeing a sandbox mode that tried replicating a NBA experience and basketball as real as possible. Instead it was tuned down to become a soulless VC grind.

We don't have player mentors who take on you as rookie to guide you through your first steps in NBA. And GM negotations are also no more. Today you select the team you want to play for and off you go while you mimic the internet influencer. Within' a feew weeks your MyPlayer becomes the GOAT. You can also have a rap career now. But can you have a decent working my career mode? No, because it's doomed to only be the VC farm for getting your player in the park and gamble in the online Casino, 'cause everything you do in NBA2K revolves around VC.

I get completely sick when reading from so many guys that 2K would do such a better job. No they wouldn't! Because, 2K is the same cash grabbing milking cow like EA and some shiny new animations alone won't be the rescue for the Madden franchise. Only EA can fix their game. EA just needs to work on the depth of Madden's Franchise mode and give it back the good old features we once had.  They also need to work on presentation to make it much more realistic. And they have to work out the A.I. and especially the O-line. It's not impossible for EA to bring Madden back into shape. They would just need to focus on the strengths of old Madden games that everyone loved back then.
