Depth Chart

Suggestion, can the depth chart quit resetting during preseason games? I don’t understand why it automatically changes your depth chart? I should decide who I want in. And it changes when you sign a FA or make a trade. I get maybe changing the player depth you traded or signed for but why the whole depth chart? Please make the depth chart stop doing this!!
