Difficulty in game options overriding difficulty in all franchises

On Madden 23 for PC, I set up a new franchise and set the difficulty for it to All-Madden. When I would advance the week, play a game, or go back to the menu it would auto set the franchise's difficu...

Any fix here? I was playing on Pro with my 7 year old, we’re 11-0 playing on the same team.  Mid game we went up 14-7 vs Ravens and literally on the kickoff the difficulty changed from Pro to All Madden and we couldn’t change it back! Good thing we’re beasts and we won 47-42 but we almost blew the perfect season!

Can’t figure out what happened but I don’t want it to happen again. What’s the deal?
