DirectX Error - FindClosestMatchingMode

Hey,

I downloaded Madden NFL 22 and since then tried to get it going.

The following error appears at every start of the game, then closing the game:

DirectX function "m_output->FindClosestMatchingMode(&matchMode, &m_outpotMode, m_renderer-> getDxgiDevice())" failed with DXGI_ERROR_NOT_FOUND ("When calling IDXGIObject::GetPrivateData, the GUID passed in is not recognized as one previously passed to IDXGIObject::SetPrivateData or IDXGIObject::SetPrivateDataInterface. When calling IDXGIFactory::EnumAdapters or IDXGIAdapter::EnumOutputs, the enumeratd ordinal is out of range.")

I updated Windows 10, my graphics drivers (AMD Radeon RX590), the directX drivers and tried to repair the game.

The error also appears in BF4 (for example).

Do you have any idea how I can fix this error to get it running?

    @HittolfAdler

    It may be worth checking for a driver update for your monitor/display.

    Check your video cable connections and maybe try using another cable too.

    Thanks.

  • Tried this multiple times already, it doesn't work. Is there any other fix we could try? Thank you
