Diversity in the Commentary Lineup for Games
Hello EA Sports Madden NFL game creators, this message that I am writing to you is to inform you that I am not happy with your latest Madden installment this year. The game lacks any real changes or improvements that make it stand out from the last 5 installments that you've given us. One of the biggest issues that I have seen with this game has been the commentary for each game. I am so sick in tired of hearing Brandin Gaudin and Charles Davis call each and every game that I participate in, including the Super Bowl. Why are these two guys the only commentary options that you are giving us? I think it's about time that we see the introduction of new commentary voices into the next Madden installment that actually calls the games during the NFL season. I would love to see and hear guys like Tony Romo, Troy Aikman, Jim Nantz, Chris Collinsworth, Joe Buck, Al Michaels, Chris Myers, Jonathon Vima, Phil Simms, Kevin Harlan, Trent Green, and Kenny Albert call the games every week. A combination of any of these guys on a weekly basis would keep the games feeling fresh and exciting. More specifically, I think that it's best that during the big-time matchups on Sunday afternoon, I would love it if you guys would pair up Tony Romo and Jim Nantz to call those games. Since they are the main voices that make the calls in real life, it's only right that we get to listen to them call our games. On Monday Night Football, the commentary team should be Joe Buck and Troy Aikman who call the games mainly during the regular season. In addition to creating a more diverse commentary team, I would love it if the commentators actually called the game more accurately and even provide suggestions on what kind of play, we should run depending on the situation. For example, during the Cowboys games every year, when Tony Romo is calling the games, he is always breaking down what kind of plays he thinks they might need to run during a crucial moment in a game. Most of the time, he accurately calls the play before it happens, and when it does, it makes the game more exciting. Furthermore, I want the commentators to have genuine reactions to big play moments, injuries, penalty calls, and the overall gameplay during each game. I am so sick and tired of playing a game in Madden, and the commentators literally say the same thing every time and they always sound like robots who are only programmed to say the same few lines. Fresh new voices calling the games weekly would provide the Madden games with a sense of realism which would add more excitement and intrigue into the gameplay. Madden developers, please change the commentary lineup, and add more options. I want new voices calling my games.
