Tried that. Several times. One or both, one and off. As I noted above, I've flushed the dns cache, ran an SFC scan, reset my hosts file, double checked my internet and proxy settings, etc...
I was told via support to try a secondary Windows account. I created a new one, loaded Origin, got into the game -- same problem.
On either Windows account, I tried the original "solution" of removing the Origin software folders. It works. But, only for a handful of hours.
Just got off the phone with support and apparently, the UOTrace I sent them was "invalid". 130 packets recorded, all went through. Apparently, I did it wrong. Except...
How to get a copy of your Traceroute.
1.Download Traceroute - https://goo.gl/DD2qFc
2.Run the program.
If a pop-up box appears telling you "UO Server List not found," click No.
3.Click the Options menu at the top of the window, then click Advanced.
4.Type easo.ea.com in the window where you see the server list.
5.Click the Trace Route button
6.Click the Poll button when it’s done.
7.Under the Pkts r/s column, wait for the number of packets to get up to 100 then click Stop poll.
The Stop poll button is the same as the Poll button.
I did exactly that and stopped at 130 packets. Apparently, that's invalid according to their specialist.
Anyway, I attached my dxdiag. Let's hope I didn't invalidate that somehow.
