EA severs suck

Getting kicked off 5 times in 15 min C'MON MAN. 

$70 bucks for a game= cant play full game or online with friends.

SPANK YOU VERY MUCH EA SPORTS

  • I have the same problem. total BS. they don’t refu d tickets. and it’s clearly not us but the servers. more people need to respond to these threads to fix the proble.  

  • don’t bother with their trouble shooting steps. it will probably work fine tomorrow. i’ve done the trouble shooting steps. same problem. two days go by, magically fixed. they kick us off so we lose coins and have to purchase points. total scam.

    I dont understand why I have to do any extra work to play one game. Every other game my kids play online like overwatch, fortnite, call of duty, etc. All work fine all the time. Playing a game of Madden, EA servers kick me off every time. So to me that sounds like a problem on EA's  end not mine. Guess I'll never waste money on an EA game again.....lesson learned!

    this game is trash bc their servers are trash. i’m in the same boat. fortnite, pubg, they work great. but madden, nope, kicked. I ran a UP trace. everything was flawless. then they asked me to run another after i got rid of my awful PC. well guess what, if you have a mac, you’re SOL. their ‘tech support’ doesn’t know how to support you if you don’t have a mac. what a joke. EA is absolute trash. from development to server maintenance to customer service, they don’t know how to run a business. We can only hope 2K gives us an alternative in the near future. if EA doesn’t want to fix their mistakes, we have no other choice than to never buy a madden again, and to wait.

    OH, and if you call EA, they will tell you to open specific ports. don’t bother. this is an endless rabbit hole EA sends you down. nothing is wrong on our end. EA is just a disappointment. 

  • So i get kicked from madden ranked matches a lot. which is BS, because i have no problems with massive multiplayer games such as pubg. But nonetheless, I open all my ports, ensure my firewall is down, ensure i’m using a wired connection, etc. all the generic bs ea makes you do bc their servers are trash. I run a UO trace and it’s flawless. Well I get rid of my PC and get a mac, and since I am still experiencing these issues, EA wants ANOTHER (and yes moderator, i’m allowed to use caps occasionally, you can’t delete my post again for that) UO trace. Well guess what, if your the 40% of america that owns a mac, THEY WONT HELP YOU. What kind of customer service and tech support is that? They provide you with a different program to run, and then say the data that program provides is insufficient, and that they aren’t trained to assist any further. So what do i do now EA? Sit on my thumb and stare at a video game that doesn’t work? Thanks SO much for the ‘tech support’ and thanks again for all the tickets you stole while booting me from matches. You have been so helpful in sorting out connectivity issues that i only experience with your game.

    C’mon moderator, your quick to provide generic advice, and even quicker to delete posts that make EA look bad, but what about when you get hit with the truth. We can’t run UO trace on a Mac. and the additional program your tech support suggests provides insufficient data for them to work with. So what’s good moderator. What do we do now since you delete our comments and won’t let us troubleshoot with the community.

    Hey @zb412 I merged your other post over to this one since it's related. I understand disconnections from games in Madden can be extremely irritating to deal with as I've been playing the game for over a long time now and know when it happens, I can get a little emotional myself with how much time I vested into the game. You sound like you really want to get this fixed based off all the steps you've been willing to go through.

    We do have a UO Trace equivalent. You can find it under "Run a Traceroute and Pathping" in the thread below.

    Can you do that and attach the files so we can see if the connection is getting hung up at some site along the way to our servers?
