[ERROR] Unable to retrieve your progression information from EA Servers at this

I have an error message in madden 22 that happens to pop up if I go in or out of a game mode, and when I start up the game, it says [ERROR] Unable to retrieve your progression information from EA Ser...

    @EA_BlueberryOMG it's finally gone! Error did not happen and I can edit my avatar!

Started experiencing it after 10/6/21. Can’t alter avatar in game. Gives error of unable to retrieve your progression from the Ea servers at this time. Please try again later.

Hey, everyone.

Have some more questions for you to determine the cause of this error.

  • For those that are experiencing it do you remember if it started happening after you made any changes to your Avatar?
  • Are you able to edit your avatar in game at all to see if that has any effect?
  • Did you ever link up your game to Madden 22 Mobile?

    Come on its been a month I can't change avatar or setting nothing because it gives me the same thing as it gives everyone else cannot retrieve your progression the game doesn't work in any mode because of this happened when I connected my ea account to my ps4 again been over a month

    • After designing my face right away, it kicked me out and I've never been able to further customize anything
    • Are you able to edit your avatar in game at all to see if that has any effect?
    • I cannot edit my avatar in game
    • Did you ever link up your game to Madden 22 Mobile?
    • I had linked my account to Madden mobile before getting Madden 22 for PS4 and PS5.

    Cannot edit avatar so no.

    No. Cannot edit avatar.
    Did you ever link up your game to Madden 22 Mobile?

    Yes... I think so. before purchasing on Ps4. And have carried this link over from Madden Mobile last year too.
    But I only used it for a week and have no desire to use Madden Mobile again

      @KiwiRayLewis I also cannot UNlink my account from Madden Mobile. Maybe if someone could actually do something about this problem rather than spinning wheels and scratching your cracks over at EA, that'd be wonderful. It's been a month since I reported this.

      The Yard is not in Madden 22 Mobile yet, but would you be able to download the latest version and login since progression was shared among both accounts to see if that has any positive effect on you editing the Avatar in Madden 22?

      Thanks for getting back to us with the details. The team is still looking into this and it seems to be a difficult issue to locate the root cause. We're looking to gather as much information as we can from players here to determine what was done prior to the error to help them with the investigation.

        @EA_Blueberry Uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of Madden Mobile and the EA Account there is still linked.

        Still unable to access the Madden Profile from the main game menu screen to make any changes to the Avatar - it just boots me back to the main page again.

        If my EA account was unlinked from the Mobile version of the game, would that solve it? I'm not going to play the Mobile game again
