Face of the Franchise glitch
I played an entire season as a CB in FOF. I got up to an 85 overall level 14. After winning the NFC championship game, when I went back to the menu it lowered my overall to a 73, level 1. I played th...
This happened to me twice now. I restarted the career and got all my progress back on the new CB. I deleted the original CB/QB and it did it again. When I reload the new career, I am always offered more money too. Also, when you unlock all the abilities l, at the bottom it says upgrade throw power and accuracy for every position. I think you have to have a player at each position because you can only make one player per position. DB is the hardest position in sports and I take it seriously. I know I should just give up, but I am a dog, absolute competitor, so I can't. I have also recorded all of my GAMEPLAYS so I can prove it. And I will be posting to YouTube. I suggest we make a player at each position and maybe it won't do it anymore. The game is designed under the QB mechanic that you have to succeed? Basically, this position should be hard for people to get picks and maybe we are just too good and the All-Madden AI and Madden Ratings Adjuster (Ocho) as well as the NFLPA doesn't like it when armchair DBs make it look easy. I had 11 INTs in 7 games in my first career and 8 INTs in my second career in 6 games. The game don't like us bro.
Yeah I started a new CB career and it allowed me to instantly upgrade to where my last career was. The only thing that sucks is I had to start from season 1 again when I really wanted my original career to continue.
So yeah I made a player across all positions and I think this is the fix for that bug, but I heard that it won't let you resign or continue your career after year 3. I knew the game was fishy when I played my first CB with 11 INTs/7 games when 45 YO Tom Brady had a wide open receiver I was covering and he waiting to throw the ball a good few seconds and the receiver was wide open across the middle. That same game I was playing for the Chiefs whose defense is sub par at best in my opinion got like 10.0, maybe 12.0 sacks. In what universe would an old QB standing in the gun eat that many sacks knowing he might want to keep playing? Tom Brady is the creme-de-la-creme of the QB position, and I get it he would Joe Burrow that thing, refusing to throw picks, but when a DB invokes fear into the heart of the most fearless QB in the sports history, I think the All-Madden AI has been scripted since the days of PS2 Maddens, and this is why I would always create players and just treat it like a fantasy league. And when you force an AI, a computer whose logic should be infallible if it were to be one of us, to do things that don't make sense, it causes a cataclysmic system crash of sorts and forces you restart. It's also it's way of conceding to your greatness because CB is the hardest position in sports, and it's allowing you to redo all your missed opportunities as well as showing you the respect you deserve. Every time I start over, I get this message from the AI Madden Ratings Adjuster that basically tells me I am better than it anticipated I would be so they will try to cheat you out of your progress thinking that you will quit. I also think that it thinks we're bots and it is trying to say we're cheating but the game has been cheesy and the CB position has been to easy ever since the ball hawk feature and ball hawk assist was added. I get the realism of the mechanic, but seriously it's worse than the PS3/Xbox 360 defensive assist button where you could just give him good height and coverage and then push Y/Triangle without having to do any work whatsoever. I think this is the reason why they stopped doing the CB position for so long in the single player career mode and I kind of figured it would be buggy when they brought it back. Also, I think it's because it's the digital copy of the game. I bet the disc version isn't having this problem.
