Summarize your bug Was halfway through my season and the game turned my cornerback into a quarterback. All stats were reset. And the only skill points available were quarterback skill points. It still said I was a cornerback up in the top right corner. But upgrade points were all quarterback skills. Was forced to delete and restart my season.. THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE.. AND IT IS HAPPENING ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS. A GAME BREAKING BUG PLEASE FIX!!!!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Actually play the game....and you will see how it switches your position automatically no way you can miss it.. or hire game testers to show you
What happens when the bug occurs? When you load to play your game it switches your position to quarterback and resets all your skill points
What do you expect to see? I expect my position and player to stay the same until I retire.

Madden 23 ps5 turned my CB into a QB and all my upgrade points turned to qb stats!!! Game breaking bug please fix
I had this exact same problem!!! It makes my player a qb but I can still play cornerback, but with no upgrades or anything. I tried to contact EA via email, but basically got blown off. Hopefully they fix it soon
Yes they need to fix it like yesterday.. it's game breaking can't finish a season now!! It happened to my cousin again for the second time earlier today. I'm going to play mine until it happens again then I'm going to play regular franchise until a fix comes out this is BS

I had the same problem with my X box X series only I made to the end of the season and it change my HB to a QB that i had started another league with along with its skill points.
Dealing with the same thing right now and it truly is a pain to deal with. I'm trying to find a way to salvage the season but I haven't had any luck.

Summarize your bug It seems that after the latest update my cornerback career changed to a quarterback career. My position is still cornerback in games and practice, but my skill points go toward quarterback stats.

Same problem. HB turned into QB with QB skill points to upgrade. Game mode is unplayable until its fixed
HB also Changed into QB. All Skill points linked to QB now. Cant upgrade my HB. Fix this now!
Yep same problem HB changes to QB when ever i try to continue a FOTF it’s quite annoying guess imma just make a qb till the they fix this bs lol

Summarize your bug I had played almost half a season with my running back character and when I logged back in my levels had disappeared and it had changed my position to quarter back. I’ve essentially lost all my progress and am now a position I don’t want to play.

What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t continue my franchise. They now have me as a backup QB with no stats or upgrades so I just have to watch a simulation of the game
