Fix for game not launching

Since release I’ve had a lot of issues with the game not consistently launching. The game would start for about a second then close out. I tried reinstalling origin, deleting the temp files, and all the other fixes people have posted. After hours of searching for fixes I finally found the issue on my pc. The ASUS gamefirst tool seemed to be causing the problems. After turning it off the game has launched every time. I was having an issue with FIFA not loading as well and it now launches properly. Maybe this fix will help others that were still having problems with the game.

    Thanks for posting. This is one of the reasons we often advise a clean boot as factory installed apps can cause this kind of issue.

    It is possible for those to slip past a clean boot so manually disabling or uninstalling those may be required.

    Reposting the critical part of your post so a solution can be marked:

    "The ASUS gamefirst tool seemed to be causing the problems. After turning it off the game has launched every time."
