[Fixed] Madden Franchise bug - unable to advance week

Hey Madden community,


Some of our Franchise players have recently ran into an issue where they are unable to advance their week. Our studio team are trying to reproduce this & need your help to get to the root cause of this issue. With that in mind, if you are running this issue please provide us with the following information: 

Platform:
League Name:
Gamertag/PSN ID:
Which year your Franchise is in (Ex: Year 1, Year 2, etc):
Which week in the season are they not able to advance from (Ex: Stuck in Week 16):

    Hey folks,

    We recently deployed an update with a fix for this issue and multiple players have confirmed that they are now able to advance weeks in Franchise. Please double check that your game is up to date and try to advance weeks again.

    Thanks for all of the information you've provided us to get to the bottom of this and for your patience while we worked on this. If you are still running into this problem please update this thread with any information you think may be pertinent.

    Which year your Franchise is in (Ex: Year 1, Year 2, etc): 2025, so year 7?
    Which week in the season are they not able to advance from (Ex: Stuck in Week 16): Stuck in week 2, unable to advance to week 3.

    ^^I have exaxt same issue, year 2025 stuck on week 2. hope that helps

    1. Nothing specific, advancing week
    2. Finished week 1 game playing, simmed week 2, at some point there I could no longer see advance week or many of the normal options. Was only able to see upgrade team and depth chart. Did a restart, after this couldn't even get in the league. Now get the advancing to week 3 screen, can select back, but then is caught up on "cancelling simulation" screen. Attempted advancing week via madden companion app on mobile, but just tells me the week is currently advancing check back later
    3. I am the only member in the league, and have been since I started the league.

    This game is a joke. EA is a joke

    Still can’t play this game. I now have the “advance week” box. It then staying loading on the “advancing week” screen.
    After this I won’t be buying madden 20

    Cannot advance from week 2-3 without crash.

    Having the same issue

    xbox one

    gamertag is hurtboyzusa

    its 2020 and stuck on offseason FA 3. It’s been stuck and it has a locked screen on my rejected contract player tab

    Tried to sim to next season and the game never went to the sim screen. I didn't have any control of the settings so I had to hard reset the app. Came back to a grey lock on advance week.
