[FotF] Stuck on Physique Selection/Avatar Creation screen after update

Summarize your bug Cannot get into the game any longer. After starting the game up and Pressing Any Key to continue, it goes to the Physique Selection/Avatar creation screen and tells you to access your profile to edit your avatar. When hitting right stick or tab to access profile it just spins and says "Please Wait" indefinitely. You cannot get past this screen to access ANY game mode so now the game is totally unplayable. I was previously getting the "Unable to retrieve your progression information from EA Servers at this time. Please try again later." Error. After this morning's update I'm now stuck at this character creation screen.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? attempt to login to the game with an account that was previously getting the "Unable to retrieve your progression information from EA Servers at this time. Please try again later" error after downloading this morning's update.
What happens when the bug occurs? After hitting the right stick to attempt to access my profile, the EA logo in the bottom right just spins saying "Please Wait" indefinitely. You cannot navigate out of this screen to access the game and cant even gracefully close the game. I have to alt-f4 or go to Task Manager to kill the game.
What do you expect to see? The ability to edit my avatar and proceed into the game

9/9/2021 Update: Today's server maintenance has fixed this issue. If you are still experiencing this problem, please let us know in this thread and also report this to help.ea.com so you can receive a case number while our teams further investigate your issue.

Hey Madden Community,
Some players have reported that after yesterday's Title Update, when they log in they are stuck in a Physique Selection Screen. Our team is aware and working to address this issue.
A possible workaround for this issue has been identified for now if you are encountering this issue. Please follow the steps below:
- Disconnect your system from Wi-Fi/internet.
- Turn the game on and get past the loading screen and onto the main menu.
- Connect your Wi-Fi back on and it should allow you to proceed.
We will continue to update this thread as our teams work to address this issue.

Leaving the game open, press PS button.
Go to settings, and select "Network "
Turn off internet connection.
Turn internet connection back on.
Open madden, and it will give you an error notification.
Press X and it should load you to the main screen.
Press R2 to sign in to EA.
