Free Agency bug re: number of offers

Question

I'm playing Madden '23 on Xbox S. I'm in my third off-season and each year I'm losing slots to offer players. I'm in the very first week of free agency, I've yet to extend any offers, nor did I offer any of my own free agents so I have zero offers out and yet, I see that 3 out of 5 offers are extended the minute I click on free agents. It was only 2 out 5 last year so it's increasing. I can now only make 2 offers this round unless a player accepts. They remain with the fake offers throughout the entire free agency so it doesn't clear up in week 2 and then week 3 is unlimited so it doesn't matter.

Has anyone figured out how to clear the fake offer count?

Buehler Buehler....EA, are you still looking at the franchise board? I've been bumped this up to keep the post in the top 5-10 for 3 weeks now to ensure EA would see this... any EA employee able to comment on franchise posts? The original person to file the bug filed it in August and no one has commented either.

I have been dealing with this same issue since Madden 23… Hopefully they fix it soon. Seems like a very easy fix honestly. It definitely stops us from filling in key positions with high overall players out of Free Agency and it’s super annoying.
