Game freezes when manually saving

I have the problem. Try to save. Nothing happens. Can't back out. Have to reboot Xbox to leave screen.

I need to add that even when I am on the main screen and go to manage files, then connected franchise I cannot delete any of the existing files.  The screen freezes and I can't back out.  Note: The NFL news tag bar still scrolls by and music plays, but back button does not work.  My only recourse is to turn Xbox One completely off.  

Sounds like this this might be an Xbox One related issue with Madden 2017.

Please let me know what I should do.

Having the same problem. Whether its autosave or manual, the game constantly freezes up. Its completely unplayable and i have gotten no help at all from EA. Big suprise.

Anyone having issues saving and loading games in connected franchise mode.  My game keeps freezing at certain times while doing that.  How has anyone solved this issue. 

I have issues both saving and loading games in Connected Franchise for Madden17.  I had to stop playing for 2 days because the updates screwed the game up and Commentary was missing from the games no matter what settings I adjusted.  The update this morning fixed that problem.  Now I cannot load or save any games in Connected Franchise.  I got to play one game and now it is messed up again.  I'm frustrated about all of the issues with this game.  I have owned it for 10 days and this is the second error that has caused me to not be able to play the game.  I kind of want my money back.  There should never be these kinds of issues with a game that has been in the market for over a month.  I there a lack of quality control at EA now?

I am having the same issues.  I have been playing Madden since 1992 and I have never once complained or even sought technical support for the game.  I have owned the game for 10 days and this is the second time I have gotten stuck.  This is extremely poor quality from EA. 

Yep and they don't give on iota, they got their money.  As for us, we get squat!!  Going to film same thing happening to me, and post ALL OVER YOUTUBE, hopefully more people will realize how shoddy, inconsistent and poor quality EA and Madden really are!!

Can you make sure your game is up to date as there was an update last week.

Once you are sure that is done please retry saving your Franchise files.
