Hit Stick not working

When I use the right stick to perform the hit stick it doesn't work unless I use the X button. When on offense the right stick still works to perform the truck for the running back.

    I play on Xbox One, this issue has been noticed in CFM and Training Mode with multiple players. While in training keep getting "timing off notification" while, x button almost always works. Seems parameters for hit stick are more strict in comparison to x or aggressive tackle button.

    Thank you for the reports. Just to assist the studio, we have a few more questions:

    1. Which platform are you both on?
    2. Was this with a particular team or player?
    3. Are you noticing this in all game-modes?

    I noticed the same thing, while completing tackling drill noticed that timing for hit stick is way more sensitive via the right stick compared to agreesive tackle via face button. Face button worked almost every time, while hit stick less than 25%. And no, I am not a beginner have been using hit stick since implementation in Madden 2005.
