How do I play multi-player on Madden 20 on PC with multiple controllers?

I would like to play Madden 20 with another player locally (not online) on PC. We each have our own controllers. How do I play with the other player?

I got this sorted out. It seems it was an Nvidia Shield thing. I found this article and it did the trick for me.
