How my Face of the Franchise CB character randomly turns into QB?

I have played 4 weeks in my Madden 23 Face the Franchise mode with CB as my player and now the player randomly changed to QB. It says I am still a CB in the top right corner but I can only upgrade QB...

It's doing it to me as well, with my HB and MLB players. I have reached out to EA several times, and have gotten no reply. Supposedly, from what I'm hearing, EA is trying to push people to purchase 24 and no longer offering support for 23. Allegedly. I may be wrong, as I got that info from a source who has yet to prove themselves either reliable or unreliable.
