I CAN'T EVEN PLAY OFFLINE!

Seriously EA?  I understand that there must be complications with an online cloud stored franchise but I can't play the game at all.  All I want is to play my offline franchise by myself and yet I can't.  I've played Madden since it was first released and I don't know if I've ever been more frustrated.  I don't need MUT, or an online tournament to be happy, just a functional game to get my football fix.  Can't load or access the EA server, can't get update, and no option to play without the update.  You are why monopolies are terrible.

When will I be able to play?
