instant replay way too short

I have Madden 16 on the Xbox 360. Whenever I want to view an instant replay, i'll pause my game and choose the instant replay option. However, the instant replay only shows a very short amount of the play. It literally only shows about the last 4 to 6 seconds of a play. It is as if instant replay begins in the middle or towards the end of the play. I've updated my game and I have it connected to xbox live. So I do get all the updates. Is there anyway to make the entire instant replay show up?
