Kicking + Punting Meter lag/accuracy failure

Summarize your bug I purchased the MVP version pre-order and it worked fine until about a month ago. The kicking meter for field goals and for punting are not responding correctly in Franchise, Ultimate, and Exhibition (Play Now) modes. No matter when I make my second click after power up it will always mark it early on the accuracy meter. Punts come up super short and field goal kicks and kickoffs will both go wildly off to the left. It has made the game unusable as I lose major elements of game play. However, the kick meter works if I am in Practice mode just fine
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For example, I'm in a Packer-Buccaneer matchup in a custom game on Play Now in Exhibition. I have the game set to Simulation mode and I'm playing All-Pro. When I kick-off it happens right there. Or if I go to special teams on offense and just try to kick a field goal or punt, it will happen there.
What happens when the bug occurs? I press X to power up to 100%, then press X at 100, then X again at the bottom accuracy meter. No matter how close I am to exact, it will always mark the accuracy roughly 25% short of the right spot on the last click. If I click after the mark, it will land at the same shorter spot. If I click on the mark, it will land at the same shorter spot.
What do you expect to see? I expect when I click somewhere on the meter it will land exactly where I click. Right now there is no adjusting my kicks, they all fail.

What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card? unsure, it's whatever is built into the PS4 Pro 1TB
Enter RAM memory size in GB Not sure about how much RAM is inside, it's a PS4 Pro 1TB (tons of free space available) connected to an LG OLED 55" HDR screen via high speed HDMI 2 cables. Everything else works just fine so this must be a programming glitch. Also, I didn't see this in the earlier builds of the game where it worked just fine. Everything is updated - the PS4 Pro, the latest Madden NFL 21. I also re-installed all software and ran system checks and everything is fresh.

Whenever I try to kickoff, kick a field goal, or punt in Madden 21 games now (local) the kick/punt meters do not respond to my timing. For example ever time I do the second click for accuracy, it registers way early and the kick will fly off wildly - to the left for a right foot kicker. So kickoffs end up flying off the left side of the field at about the 40 yard line, and field goals will shoot way off to the left into the crowd. Punts will end up being super short.
