Here is a DX diag. I too experienced the issue where my framerate was capped at 30 after installing the most recent Madden patch. However, my game stopped working after I changed the framerate cap to unlimited. The game will launch and I can hear it running (Music etc), but the video will be frozen on the initial loading screen. Also if you alt tab out of the game, it will fully crash and remain frozen in windowed mode. I am an IT professional and have more or less attempted all conventional troubleshooting means. Any help would be appreciated.
Additional info that may be helpful:
-Am launching from the EA app
-Have latest graphics drivers but have tried old drivers as well
-My system is running fully AMD unlike the others reporting this, so it is highly improbable that this would be a graphics card/driver related issue
-Have tried fully reinstalling and repairing the game
-Have tried limiting my computer and monitors frame rates to 30 fps/hertz

If you're also able to grab EA app Error Report IDs that would be helpful as well. For more info on how you can pull one up, check out this article on the EA Help website.
Once you have the Report ID please share it in this thread. We just need the ID, not the actual log files themselves.

Also having the same issue. The menus, play selection, cutscenes, and sometimes gameplay are now all locked at 30 fps. I have tried unlocking my fps, locking it to 60 fps, turning v-sync on/off, turning triple buffering on/off, turning antialiasing on/off, messing with my nvidia control panel settings, nothing seems to be working. I even enabled g-sync on my monitor to see if I can override it using nvidia G-sync but had no luck. My rig is a Ryzen 9 3900x and an RTX 2070 Super for reference.
