- Anonymous11 years agoI contacted EA and they said to disconnect your Internet from your PS3 system, turn off PS3 system, unplug it from power source, make sure the red light is gone, wait 2 min then plug it back in and start game, it should work fine, it did for me(:
- Anonymous11 years agoXbox One, same issue >:c(
- Anonymous11 years agoExact same problem I'm having. I want my money back if I've been sold a faulty product.
- Anonymous11 years agoThis method posted above actually worked for me (disabling PS3 media server, deleting save files (don't need to delete playbooks), disabling Internet, delete GDU file, turn off PS3, unplug for 2 min, restart, reinstall madden 15, don't update.)
To test it, start a new CFM career with 1-minute quarters and play through a game, that way you don't waste a lot of time.
I thought EA just didn't care but thank you to the guy above for posting this solution. - Anonymous11 years agoIt worked for 1 game, now it's back to freezing. I changed a few sliders during the game, I wonder if that caused the issue.

Btw, the fix with quit game "No". then wait another quit game "No" and then Quit Game "yes" works.
But not if you try to start a season with fantasy draft. Then it fails every time. Great

March 28th and this thread has been opened for a long time without a fix. The answers provided are temporary workarounds that do not last long. I stopped playing this game for a couple months and now that off season is here tried to get back into it as I get prepped for buying madden 16.....well, not with this kind of service. no fix after at least 5 months.....simply ridiculous. I will not bother with EA any longer. I think ill write to the NFL and see if that has any effect.

Yeah I will not buy Madden 16. I have not been able to play Madden 15 since I bought the god damn game. EA really dropped the ball in this one and when I contacted them they told me that is my console even after I sent him the link to a bunch of forums for multiple consoles about the issue.
I'm not buying EA games again; I strongly suggest anyone who reads this does not either.
MADDEN 15 is a lemon product and they should not be able to get away for releasing this *.

So, this is certainly a bit late for most, but I think I've solved this obnoxious bug. The trick is to never ever ever use the select button, or "quicksave" to save your CFM. This corrupts any save file. You can use the select button outside of CFM to save profiles, playbooks, rosters, etc, but you cannot EVER use the select button inside of CFM. ALWAYS save your CFM by navigating to the last pane from the home screen: League --> Settings --> Save. Then overwrite or make a new file.
Here's my step-by-step:
1. Delete any and all CFM files that you used select "quick save" for. Sorry, but they are corrupted and will freeze. If you don't mind starting over, then delete them all.
2. Sign out of Playstation Network. You don't need to disable internet to your ps3. just sign out. NEVER ever sign back in while playing CFM. You can be online and get game updates as well as new rosters, but you cannot be signed in while playing CFM.
3. Delete Game Data Utility File.
4. Run Madden. Game Data File will reinstall.
5. Take the latest update. Mine was 1.03, I think...
6. Start your new CFM.
7. Never use select to save.
8. Never update Madden again.
That's it. I have played a dozen of games straight with no freezes. Very happy to have the game again. I hope this helps. The fact that EA never resolved this just shows you just how behind 2k sports and the show they are. Exclusivity is a bad thing; competition is good.
