Yes. that was a goodtimes. My favorite was when he came back from vacation all invigorated and excited about getting the problem solved for us.

the fact he hasn’t said a thing in 2 weeks is kind of hilarious. Mostly disappointing and expected though.

Love/hate seeing this thread grow. Incorrigible on the part of EA. Where are you @EA_Blueberry ? What word from the grand tech-wizards at EA?
The first step to solving a problem is acknowledging the problem. Unreal this has gone on for this long.

@EA_Blueberry I believe I remember you stating you would be working Sundays. Do we have any sort of update? By update, I actually mean an update. Not another, "They are aware of issue and will be attempting to fix it". I am looking for an actual cause of the problem at the minimum. This is no different than any other Customer Service. They find the problem and report you the problem. EA is acting like if I brought in a car that is skipping but they can't tell me a timeframe for repair or what the actual issue is. Does that sound like good business sense to anyone? Thank Goodness EA announced the return of College Football. If not for that, this would have officially been the end of my relationship with EA Sports, which has existed since 1995.The Madden games aren't even good enough for this sort of high and mighty treatment. I know the issue is not with you Blueberry, but you should be providing consistent communication on this at the very least twice a week.

Hey, everyone.
I apologize for the lack of responses lately, I had a personal situation with COVID within the family and daycare. Luckily, everyone's okay. I came back for a day in which I had to do various tasks like reporting to multiple studios on what is impacting our community so they're aware of the issues and wasn't able to get around to all game titles for these forums.
I see that the team actually attempted to fix this in a recent update. Based off everyone still asking for updates here I'm under the impression it's still not working.
Can you all confirm the following:- Can you connect to existing franchises? (yes/no)
- Can you connect to newly created franchises? (yes/no)
With the Super Bowl today I hope you are all watching it as I will be! I'll provide an update for you as soon as I can this week.

I CANNOT connect with past franchises
I CAN connect with a new franchise I created as recent as about 10 days ago

1) I can not connect to existing Cloud Franchise
2) I was able to connect to new Cloud Franchise and re-connect.

It's past franchises that don't work and EA already know this as I have said before I've been lucky and got to talk to people on phone twice from EA they know its peoples old franchise that have the problem I find it funny you are asking this question that they already have an answer for its a shame all the different departments at EA don't all give the same response as depending we're you ask the question answers are different still it does past the time away

I can create new franchises fine and load them up but my old ones don’t load up at all

@EA_Blueberry sorry to hear about the family situation. Still unable to connect to any old franchise. They can be seen in the cloud but cannot access. New franchises that have been started in the last couple weeks work without issue.

- I cannot connect to my old franchise (but I am able to view it in the “Load Franchise” screen
- I am able to access a new franchise if i create one

Once again @EA_Blueberry has pulled a fast one. Four days ago he threw a faint glimmer of hope by wanting information from us, which many of us provided, only for him to remain silent without so much as a "I don't have an update for you, sorry". Nope, keep throwing us the bones to try to keep us at the heels of EA and avoid any follow up...........

I'm not sure what we have over here in this household but I've been dealing with a personal situation myself with family being sick and homeschooling. Let me tell you, working from home with kids learning virtual schooling at a very young age for the first time is not an easy task. I'm quite impressed with the Madden's team work having to manage work life balance throughout this year when facing circumstances I know many have faced. Keep in mind that in order to deliver an amazing product you need pieces from different departments to come together. When people have to start calling out sick due to COVID or have other distractions at home come into play, it can throw off schedules where in the past you were working at a higher efficiency level.
I came back today and unfortunately have to do reporting, attend meetings, and other various tasks before taking more days off. As of right now, there are no new updates. We are continually reaching out to the team and it's still being worked on. I'll keep you all informed next week when I return and again, I'm sorry you've been unable to access your existing Cloud Franchises and value your patience. - 4 years ago

Has there been any internal discussion about a make-good for this? Some of us have lost hundreds+ of hours and years of commitment to these franchises.

@EA_BlueberrySorry to hear what you're going on at your home. And your first couple of paragraphs would be fine if you were just a mod on a random forum. But you're a paid community interface and if you are going through all of these things then it is best for EA as an employer to give you the time off you need. Which seems to be the case with your new schedule.
However, EA owes it to us as customers to assign another individual who can communicate with us on a more regular basis. They also owe it to us to bring in additional resources to work on this bug if not 24/7, then at least 8 hours a day. We know that they haven't done the former and we're pretty certain they're not doing the latter.
Again, if the franchises are irrevocably lost we deserve to know that as well to not waste our time anymore on these boards, or our money on any future EA games.
