Madden 18 wont connect with EA Servers.

Madden 18 GOAT addition was working fine. Went to play today, it did an update and now it wont connect to EA Servers. I looked online and did the stuff they said. I restore factory setting with initialization and I turned off the PS4 and unplugged it for a few minutes....NOTHING! It is saying I am logged into PSN so I am not quiet sure WTH

I’m having this problem now as well. I was just playing madden no less than 18 hours ago and now I can’t play because I get the connection failed, pertaining to EA servers. I did all the steps and nothing is working, what now?

@EA_Ryan OK so I know this is old, but I am having this problem as well and I did recently change the password on my router now it won't connect to ea servers. Could you Please tell me how to fix it? Thanks

I ended up taking my ps4 to gamestop and they said it was something wrong on the inside of my ps4. Ended up buying a new ps4

Well if you were still able to connect on your Hotspot that means it was still able to connect to something. Maybe in your case it may have been a connection issue with your account or router because if it still connects then it shouldn't have been your ps4. But glad it worked out for you. My case is a little different
