Madden 19 PC Issues (Laggy)

Hello all, I am a bit late to the game but I just recently installed Madden 19 to my PC. I have tried several different suggestions I found online and I see there were definitely performance issues when the game first launched. I assume most of those would have been patched and that people do play without issues. I am having major lagging / stuttering, and I have tried many different settings including setting all graphics settings as low as possible. So I am just looking for some help as to what my problem could be? My equipment is definitely a bit outdated but according to the recommended specs I should be able to run it.
