Madden 19 player and teams ratings

Why are player ratings on Madden 19 updated each week but the teams overall ratings haven’t been updated at all? For example, the Bengals after five weeks of play were 4-1 and remained at a 77 rating as they were at the start of the season but the Raiders stood at 1-4 and we’re rated 80 which is higher than the Bengals. I don’t understand it. After eight games played the teams ratings remained the same. It makes no sense. How can teams with losing records be rated higher than teams with winning records? At the midway point of the season the Raiders are 1-7 (80 overall rating) and the 49ers are 1-7 (79 overall rating) but both teams are rated better then the 5-3 Bengals (77 overall rating) which is disrespectful and outrageous. It also affects teams performance because players are not being upgraded properly for instance some backups are rated higher then the starters! For example right defensive end Michael Johnson of the Bengals is the starting right defensive end but his backup Carl Lawson is rated higher! Michael Johnson is a starting every down  defensive end and Carl Lawson is a situational pass rusher. There’s no way a backup could be rated higher then a starter. A starter has to be rated higher than his backup, that’s the whole point of him being the starter, right? That also affects the teams overall ratings. Please make the nessessary changes to make the depth charts accurate to real life. Oh, and one other thing, why is John Ross speed a 97 if he ran a 4.22 at the combine? Explain. Thank you.

  • John Ross of the Bengals ran a 4.22 at last year’s combine. But his speed was rated 98 and his acceleration was a 96, which is outrageous! The outrageousness was taken even a step further this year by downgrading his speed even further to a 97. His speed and acceleration   should both be a 99. Regardless how you feel about him as a football player speed is speed. Regardless if he can run routes or catch the ball or get separation from the defensive backs, speed is speed. Regardless of his awareness or elusiveness, speed is speed, it has nothing to do with his quickness or agility. We’re just talking about one thing, speed. Initially he should have had a 99  for speed and acceleration and if he proves that he doesn’t deserve it then lower it.
