So it looks like your machine should be able to play Madden 20.

• Check for and install all available Windows updates
• Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
• Try to free up some hard drive space on your C:/

Possibly most importantly, you should go through the following to help ensure your GPU is used rather than the video processing on your CPU:

1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
2. Click Manage 3D settings
3. Click the Program Settings tab
4. Click the Add button
5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Madden NFL 20\Madden20.exe
6. Select Madden20.exe and then Open
7. Customise individual settings if you like
8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

@EA_Barry  @abbazabbagcm  while the tips you gave me last night solved the problem Barry i got to play a couple hours of madden but now the game wont open and we are back to our old ways. ive tried clean booting and everything again but no luck this time. 

sounds like EA really * up the game.

I know this is a little late but did you end up finding a fix to the game not opening up for you? Did you try reinstalling the game or the Origin client? Running Origin as administrator (right click on the desktop shortcut) is also advised when a game is struggling to launch.
